Mill Creek, Etowah split
Game 1: Mill Creek 1, Etowah 0
Game 2: Etowah 5, Mill Creek 0
Mill Creek needed 12 innings to defeat Etowah in Game 1 on Jay Pendley's walk-off RBI single.
However, Etowah pitcher Nick Torres hurled a two-hit shutout in the nightcap to force a decisive Game 3 Thursday night at 6 p.m.
Drew Waters finished 1-for-2 with a pair of RBIs to lead Etowah in Game 2.

Woodstock, North Gwinnett split
Game 1: Woodstock 3, North Gwinnett 2
Game 2: North Gwinnett 10, Woodstock 2
Woodstock's Brant Hurter allowed North Gwinnett two unearned runs on seven hits to outduel North Gwinnett starter Cade Heil in a 3-2 victory in Game 1.
However, North Gwinnett broke out the offense in a 10-2 victory in the nightcap to force a decisive Game 3 Thursday night at 6 p.m. with a berth in the state championship game on the line.
The Wolverines made the most of two hits in Game 1, while Parker Coyne went 3-for-4 to lead North Gwinnett at the plate. Heil and Michael Borah had two hits each.
In Game 2, Jake Brace earned the complete-game victory on the mound while his offense collected 16 hits. Heil and Coyne led the offense with three hits each.
Brennan Milone finished 2-for-3 with a double to lead Woodstock at the plate.

Lee County sweeps Johns Creek
Game 1: Lee County 7, Johns Creek 4
Game 2: Lee County 5, Johns Creek 3
Tyler Simon's RBI single in the top of the eighth scored a pair of runs to break a 3-all tie, then the senior shut down Johns Creek in the bottom of the inning to finish off a sweep and send Lee County into the state championship series for the first time since 2005.
The Trojans will play Pope, who also swept its series. The date, time and location will be announced later this week by the Georgia High School Association.
Simon earned the win in relief of starter Layne Wiard. He and Malik Spratling finished with two hits each in the nightcap to help Lee County to the victory. The loss spoiled three-hit performances from Johns Creek's Cole Neuber and Matt Gravely.
In the first game, Josh Hatcher earned the victory on the mound with Simon earning the save.
Brenton Phillips went 3-for-3 to lead the offense, while Garrett Suiter and Hatcher had two hits apiece. Hatcher also added a homer.
Gravely finished 3-for-4  in a losing cause in Game 1. Johns Creek was seeking its first trip to the state championship series in school history.

Pope sweeps River Ridge
Game 1: Pope 7, River Ridge 6
Game 2: Pope 10, River Ridge 0
Pope's Jake Pralgo drew a bases loaded walk to force home Buddy Floyd for the game-winning run in Game 1.
Then the Greyhounds used a grand slam from Antonio Jareno in the first inning to spark Pope en route to a series sweep of River Ridge Wednesday evening. The Greyhounds will be in the state championship series for the second straight year.
Pope will meet Lee County, who also swept its series, for the state championship. The date, time and location will be determined by the Georgia High School Association later this week.
The Greyhounds rallied from a 6-1 deficit to win Game 1.
In addition to Jareno's grand slam, Parker Orr added a two-run blast in the second game.
River Ridge made its deepest postseason run in school history.

Wayne County, Locust Grove split
Game 1: Wayne County 16, Locust Grove 1
Game 2: Locust Grove 7, Wayne County 4
Wayne County routed defending state champion Locust Grove in the first game behind 13 hits and a complete-game pitching performance from pitcher JT Crosby.
However, Locust Grove rallied to force a decisive Game 3 Thursday afternoon at 5 p.m. in Jesup.
Crosby allowed Locust Grove just four hits in Game 1. Meanwhile, the Jackets were led by James Maudlin's 2-for-3 performance. He also finished with five RBIs. Cooper Martin also collected two hits.
Locust Grove used a five-run sixth inning to take the lead for good in the nightcap. Nolan Crisp earned the victory, while Joah Curry went 3-for-3 to lead the offense.
Maudlin also went 3-for-3 in the second game for Wayne County. He finished 5-for-6 with six RBIs in the two games.

Starr's Mill, Loganville split
Game 1:
Starr's Mill 1, Loganville 0
Game 2: Loganville 3, Starr's Mill 1
Jake Arnold allowed just four hits and tossed a complete-game shutout to help Starr's Mill defeat Loganville 1-0 in Game 1.
However, Loganville rallied in the nightcap to force a decisive Game 3 Thursday night at 6 p.m. in Fayetteville.
Haynes Heinecke's sacrifice fly in the second inning scored Arnold and stood as the only run in the first game.
But Bay Witcher's complete-game performance on the mound helped Loganville force a third game. He struck out eight and the Red Devils got RBIs from Aaron Knight, Justin Moss and Witcher to make the most of their three hits.

Blessed Trinity sweeps Heritage-Catoosa
Game 1:
Blessed Trinity 12, Heritage-Catoosa 0
Game 2: Blessed Trinity 6, Heritage-Catoosa 4
Blessed Trinity swept Heritage-Catoosa to earn a spot in the state championship series for the fourth straight season. The Titans will meet region rival Marist, who swept its semifinal series. The date, time and location will be determined later this week by the Georgia High School Association.
In Game 1, Blessed Trinity starter Peyton Glavine allowed just three hits in five innings to earn the victory. David Dunn went 3-for-3 to lead the offense, while Ryan Davis, Colin Davis, Jake Lundkovsky and Michael Markwordt collected two hits apiece.
In Game 2, Blessed Trinity rallied from a 4-1 deficit with a three-run fourth to tie, then broke the tie with two in the seventh to win the game. The loss spoiled an excellent outing from Heritage's Alex Barbee. Lance Dockery went 3-for-4 to lead the Generals at the plate.
Jake Smith earned the victory in relief of Patrick McNamara. Dunn, Smith and Mitchell Weidner led the Titans at the plate with two hits each.

Marist sweeps LaGrange
Game 1:

Game 2: Marist 9, LaGrange 0
Marist is back in the state championship series after sweeping a pair of games at LaGrange on Wednesday. The War Eagles haven't played in the championship series since winning back-to-back titles in 2010 and '11.
No additional details were available about Wednesday's sweep.
They will play region rival Blessed Trinity, who also swept its series. The date, time and location won't be determined until later this week by the Georgia High School Association.

Pierce County sweeps Coahulla Creek

Game 2: Pierce County 5, Coahulla Creek 0
Pierce County ended Coahulla Creek's dream season with a series sweep of the Colts Wednesday evening in Blackshear. The victory sends the Bears to the state championship series for the first time since 2012 when they finished as the state runner-up.
In Game 1, Pierce starter Cody Grant allowed just a run on three hits in a complete-game performance. He and Walker Sinclair each collected two hits to lead the offense.
In Game 2, Cody Williams allowed Coahulla Creek just two hits in a complete-game victory. He struck out 12. Ben Tuten led the offense, going 3-for-4 with a pair of RBIs.
The Bears will meet North Hall in the state championship series. The date, time and location will be announced later this week by the Georgia High School Association.
Coahulla Creek made its deepest postseason run in school history.

North Hall sweeps Calhoun

North Hall 10, Calhoun 1
Game 2: North Hall 3, Calhoun 0
Preseason favorite North Hall is headed to the state championship series for the first time since 2013 after sweeping past Calhoun Wednesday in Gainesville. The Trojans will meet Pierce County. The date, time and location will be determined by the Georgia High School Association.
In Game 1, the Trojans took a two-run lead in the first inning and never looked back. Taber Mongero went 3-for-4 with an RBI to lead the offense, while Jackson Latty and Drew Hubbard had two hits apiece to support pitcher Reese Olson. The junior allowed just a run on four hits to earn the complete-game victory.
In Game 2, Corban Meeler hurled a complete-game shutout. Meeler allowed just two hits, while Hubbard finished 2-for-4 to lead the offense.

Elbert County, Bacon County split
Game 1:
Bacon County 3, Elbert County 2
Game 2: Elbert County 2, Bacon County 1
Bacon County will meet Elbert County in a decisive Game 3 Thursday afternoon at 5 p.m. with a state championship berth on the line.
The Raiders took Game 1, but Elbert rallied to force a third game by winning the nightcap.

Schley County sweeps Telfair County
Game 1:
Schley County 6, Telfair County 2
Game 2: Schley County 18, Telfair County 1
Schley County swept Telfair County to make the Class A Public School state championship series for the second time in three years. The Wildcats claimed the crown in 2015.
Schley scored three runs in the first inning of Game 1 and never looked back. Will Barry earned the victory on the mound, outdueling Telfair standout Ryan Dopson.
Chase Patrick, Wade Law and Barry collected two hits each to lead the offense. Telfair finished with just three hits in Game 1 and a combined four hits in the two-game series.
Then Schley rolled to an easy Game 2 victory. The Wildcats scored 10 runs in the top of the first and never looked back in the three-inning contest. Patrick was the winning pitcher and also went 3-for-3 to lead the offense.

Gordon Lee, Charlton County split
Game 1:
Gordon Lee 4, Charlton County 3
Game 2: Charlton County 3, Gordon Lee 1
Gordon Lee took the first game of the best-of-three series behind pitcher Austin Thompson. However, Charlton rallied back to win the nightcap behind pitcher Jack Gowen to force a decisive Game 3 Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m. in Chickamauga.

Savannah Christian sweeps Athens Christian
Game 1:
Savannah Christian 2, Athens Christian 1
Game 2: Savannah Christian 2, Athens Christian 0
Savannah Christian will make its first appearance in a state championship series after sweeping past Athens Christian Wednesday in Savannah. But it was anything but easy.
In Game 1, Athens Christian took a 1-0 lead in the fifth and cruised until Savannah Christian tied the game in the bottom of the seventh, then took the victory on Nick Arrowood's walk-off RBI single to help starter Zack Brockman earn the victory.
Brockman allowed just one hit, while Kyle Hilton and Drew Malphrus each went 2-for-3 to lead the offense.
In Game 2, Hilton hurled a complete-game shutout and allowed just three hits. Justin Anderson went 3-for-4 to lead the offense, while Ben Jackson added two RBIs.
Athens Christian was making its deepest playoff run in school history.

Tattnall Square sweeps Holy Innocents
Game 1:
Tattnall Square 5, Holy Innocents 0
Game 2: Tattnall Square 9, Holy Innocents 3
Defending Class A Private School champion Tattnall Square is back in the state championship series after sweeping Holy Innocents Wednesday in Macon.
In Game 1, Matt Blair hurled a two-hit shutout and struck out 10 to outduel Holy Innocents' ace Hugh Chapman who also struck out 10.
Trey Ham's two-run homer in the first inning of Game 1 gave the Trojans all the runs they needed. Austin Marchman went 2-for-3 to lead Tattnall's ofense.
In the second game, Tattnall broke a 3-all tie with two runs in the sixth inning to take the lead for good. Garrett Houston went 4-for-4 at the plate and also earned the complete-game victory on the mound. Mike Wilson went 3-for-3.
Holy Innocents was led at the plate by John McNair who finished 2-for-3 with a double.
