Q&A with Ware County's Noah Hooks

Meet Noah Hooks, a 6-foot, 200-pound infielder/pitcher from Ware County High School who is uncommitted. Hooks is a member of the South Georgia Big 10 cover for the 2022 Georgia Dugout Preview Magazine. Here are 10 questions with him.

Q: What in-game rituals or superstitions do you have?

A: I eat an egg sandwich before every game.

 

Q: Who is your favorite professional sports team?

A: Golden State Warriors.

 

Q: What is your favorite food to eat?

A: Macaroni and cheese.

 

Q: Name one thing people may be surprised to learn about you? 

A: I am a state champion in swimming.

 

Q: Who is your favorite teacher and what is your favorite high school subject?

A: My favorite teacher is my baseball coach Jamie Ammons. My favorite subject is math.

 

Q: Outside of baseball, what is your next hobby? 

A: I love to play basketball.

 

Q: If you could travel anywhere outside the U.S., what would be your dream location and why?

A: I would love to go to Italy and eat a big bowl of spaghetti and meatballs.

 

Q: Name the person you'd like to meet the most.

A: The Rock. He's my favorite actor.

 

Q: Who has been the most influential person in your life?

A: My parents because they raised me in a Christian home and taught me right from wrong.

 

Q: After baseball, what career are you planning to pursue?

A: I plan to get my specialist degree in education and become a coach.
