Week 10 Prep Baseball Polls

The regular season is over and the playoff seeds have been determined. A few changes highlight the final Georgia Dugout Preview Magazine baseball polls.

The biggest change is in Class 3A where former No. 1 Hart County was swept in key Region 8-3A series last week by Oconee County. It sent the Bulldogs tumbling from the top spot to No. 10.

Oconee County, who dropped out last week, is back in the Class 3A poll at No. 5, while North Hall took back over the top spot. Harlem, after capturing the Region 4-3A title, made its season debut in the rankings at No. 7. Pike County, who took a pair of games from former No. 5 Mary Persons, moved into the Class 3A rankings for the first time this year at No. 8.

In Class 7A, former No. 6 Lowndes dropped out after a rough week, opening the door for East Coweta to return to the rankings at No. 10.

In Class 6A, the rankings were unchanged.

In Class 5A, former No. 2 Loganville dropped to No. 10 after losing a pair of games to Eastside in Region 8-5A play. Decatur, formerly at No. 6, moved up to No. 2.
