Q: What in-game rituals or superstitions do you have?
A: On pitching day, I will always eat the same meal for all three meals no matter what. And on days I’m catching, I have a different meal for all three meals. Also, I put my leg guard and elbow guard on before my batting gloves and helmet.
Q: Who is your favorite professional sports team?
A: Atlanta Braves.
Q: What is your favorite food to eat?
A: Crab legs.
Q: Name one thing people may be surprised to learn about you?
A: I am one the biggest Alabama football team fans! ROLL TIDE.
Q: Who is your favorite teacher and what is your favorite high school subject?
A: Mrs. Lowry is my favorite teacher and my favorite school subject is math.
Q: Outside of baseball, what is your next hobby?
A: Fishing and hunting.
Q: If you could travel anywhere outside the U.S., what would be your dream location and why?
A: Dubai because it just looks like a cool place to visit and to see all the luxury they have.
Q: Name the person you'd like to meet the most.
A: JT Realmuto because with my primary position being catcher, I’ve always watched him and looked up to his game. I try to play my game off of what he does.
Q: Who has been the most influential person in your life?
A: My mom because she has been my rock since day one. With my dad not being in the picture for most of my life, she has filled the role of mom and dad. And to just have that in my life pushes me more and more to succeed and to show her all her hard work paid off in the long run.
Q: After baseball, what career are you planning to pursue?
A: I haven’t decided on my major just yet but it is between business management and criminal justice because it would be really cool to be a detective and solve things other people can't.
