Q: What in-game rituals or superstitions do you have?

A: One in-game ritual I have comes when I am stepping into the batter's box. I always step out and draw a cross in the dirt to resemble Jesus and to always remember that he is the reason I am here and to be grateful for the opportunity. I also put eye black on before games just to look cool I guess.

Q: Who is your favorite professional sports team?

A: Atlanta Braves.

Q: What is your favorite food to eat?

A: My favorite food(s) would have to be some nice steak and mac-n-cheese. These two are especially appetizing when served together.

Q: Name one thing people may be surprised to learn about you?

A: Something people would be surprised about would probably be that I set a GHSA and NHSA record for most triples in a single season. I hit 18 triples in the 2021 high school season.

Q: Who is your favorite teacher and what is your favorite high school subject?

A: I think that my favorite teacher would be Coach Jordan because he was also my high school coach. This is because he is funny and he made the boring subject of history quite interesting, making it fun to learn. My favorite subject would probably be math because it comes naturally to me and I find it quite easy.

Q: Outside of baseball, what is your next hobby?

A: Haha - working out is my hobby, but it also contributes to baseball. I love the game of baseball, but if I had to choose, it would probably be fishing and sharing my knowledge of the game with other kids.

Q: If you could travel anywhere outside the U.S., what would be your dream location and why?

A:  I would like to travel and see Bora Bora. That place is incredible - the scenery and privacy makes the place so intriguing.

Q: Name the person you'd like to meet the most.

A: I would really like to meet Derek Jeter. He is my most-valued MLB player ever to play the game and this is for various seasons. He plays the game the right way, he is a baseball legend and he has a similar play style to me. Another reason I would love to meet him is so that he can teach me and give me some of his knowledge he has taken from the game himself.

Q: Who has been the most influential person in your life?

A: The most influential people in my life would be my parents of course. They have taught me so much on and off the field no one can compare to. Whether it's the fundamentals of baseball or the proper way to eat your food, I couldn’t thank them enough. I feel that I have acquired some important personal characteristics from them including being responsible, honesty, trustworthiness and even taking accountability for wrongdoings.

Q: After baseball, what career are you planning to pursue?

A: I plan to major in business and become a Chief Financial Officer for a company, but I am hoping I shine in baseball at South Florida so that this awesome game won’t have to end anytime soon.
